HANS SCHAROUNThe most influential architect who
inspired my architectural career, Scharoun is an
architect greatly ignored by historian and
critics. The fluidity and articulation of spaces
he designed drew me pay twice visits of Germany.
Scharoun remained in Germany during Nazi's
took-over. He was considered the only major
architect to bridge the gap between the German
architecture of the twenties and that of the
postwar period. Two cities could be found with
most of his projects, Berlin and Stuttgart. The
Berlin Philharmoni Concert Hall is his most
significant piece built in 1963 and still remain
its superiority to the followers.
