Melissa arrived in St. Malo this morning at around six. The streets were quiet, just a few babies practicing crying on the curbs with their tutor Spot. According to French law, babies younger than three years old crying in public spaces should require animal guardians.
She walked to the dog and asked, " Do you know where I can get some Kleenex? I need for my running nose. "
" There is a Paper Queen sells all kinds of paper. It's on King Edward Street. But remember they do their cleaning in the morning. Reopens at two. ", said Spot.
" I can't wait that long", replied Melissa, wiping her nose with her right sleeve.
" Guess I will have to do it this way..", wiping with her left sleeve.
" Where do you come from? ", Spot asked.
" Paris. Left to find a quiet spot for my feet. Paris is way too big and crowded for them and they got annoyed easily."
" Then you will like St. Malo. Here only babies have privilege of staying on the streets in the day so they can practice crying along with their animal guardians. The rest of the residents go out at night from nine to twelve. "
" Perfect! ", said Melissa.

It took ten more minutes for the babies to finish. Spot then took them home one by one. The street became extremely quiet; It’s only seven in the morning. Melissa did get a nice quiet day for her feet, in the streets of St. Malo.

We once took up ballroom dancing to extend our social life. Recently with the decline of the dancing populations, people have started thinking of other ways to socialize. Pets have thus become a mean to increase interactions among people. You find there are social cats, social pigs, social dogs, even social reptiles. They create more interactions and common ground between people and will play an important roll in the information intensive era of the 21st Century.
